# Measure your own *saving* on a CI job

Paste your key. See your own saving on a CI job in a minute.

The page replays four real CI jobs recorded from headless Claude Code runs on public repositories. It sends each recorded request to Anthropic directly and to the gateway, twice, with a one token answer, so you pay only for input tokens. Then it reads the usage Anthropic returns and prices it at list price. Nothing is installed, and nothing is sent to GitHub.

Anthropic API key

Your key stays in this page's memory. It goes straight to Anthropic and to the gateway as the `x-api-key` header, like any client. The gateway never stores or logs it. It is gone when you close the tab.

CI job

| Step | Direct | Gateway |
| --- | --- | --- |

Each route ran the whole job, then ran it again 20 seconds later so the warm cache is used. The saving is on that second run. Cost is the usage Anthropic returned, times the list price. The recorded output cost is added equally to both routes: the gateway does not change output.
